Repair of the 1980 Montana Folk Guitar Model 600. |
I found this guitar in The Blue Newspaper (DBA), it had an exciting "Ovation" shaped head that made me buy it. It was probably the worst guitar I had ever had. When it got new strings, it sounded like an empty biscuit can. I was close to throwing it out, but when I had played on it for an hour, it changed its character and came to sound quite honorable . |

Tuning machines were not good, so again in DBA I found some "Shaller" like "Gold" tuning machines, which I've paid too much for. But they are mounted and work amazingly well without being original "Shaller". |

The guitar is now upgraded to being a permanent cottage guitar. |

I have made the following little video clips with a sound sample filmed in the forest at our cottage one day where the summer smiled . |

The guitar gathered and got new strings, and ready to be played at the cottage for many years. |
